Latest News Event horses in work following a slow and frustrating start to the season. Events planned this season to start within the coming months. Much planning has been made in order to take account of the current ground conditions this year. Highland ponies have come into work with Moulin attending his first show at the beginning of May. Welcome to the newly designed Rose Macpherson Eventing! Rose is a Scottish event rider and Highland pony rider and breeder currently based in Perthshire, Scotland. Rose has competed up to Advanced and 3*** level Three Day Eventing with her ambition to complete 4****. She will be focusing her attentions on the future London olympics in 2012 with high hopes for her talented 6 year old mare. Rose is always looking for promising event horses to compete. Rose has a natural flair with horses and takes great pride in caring for and producing horses as individuals in order to bring out their best. Rose also has a Highland pony stallion Moss-side McLaren who will be standing at Connachan stud this year. Rose also has an exciting home produced 7 year old gelding Trowan Moulin to compete this year, aiming for HOYS and Olympia. Rose enjoys producing performace highlands, expelling the myth that highlands are unable to tackle more than a stag from a hill!
